Christopher Danner Memorial Bench
A donation has been made to City High Campus Improvement Committee (Iowa City) to erect a bench and memorial plaque in Chris’s name. The memorial bench will be part of a larger project to improve the front entrance to City High. The project is expected to be underway late in 2007 or 2008.

Chris, we can learn from you...........
Chris, you were really were such a special person in so many ways; although you were in some ways a typical teenager in many ways you were too perfect and wonderful to be real. From the time you were an infant you possessed extraordinary understanding and compassion. You have always understood things about people and life that so many others never realize in a lifetime. You recognized the importance of love, family and friends and had a genuine appreciation for the simple but wonderful things of life. There is so much that we could all have learned from you but never applied. Although we recognized your wisdom most of us failed to apply the basic and simple rules for happiness and spreading happiness that you lived by. Now, in your memory, we would do well to use you as a model; take time for family and friends, help others, take time to appreciate the true pleasures of life, take the time to do fun things and to laugh and to always share kindness and compassion. You would have wanted this.
